Founded by the Atherton family in 1960, the first Sandy Point Restaurant was a drive-in establishment beloved for its home-cooked meals. After the restaurant caught fire in 1975, the Athertons reopened it on a new piece of land that was previously a resort. The busy restaurant was a hub for great food and entertainment. It has since changed owners, getting an update in 2013 at the West Olive location and adding a 2nd location in Grand Rapids more recently.Our Dedication to Quality
Even as our restaurant has been slightly altered over the years, one thing hasn't changed: our objective to provide a superior dining experience marked by impressive food and service. Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
