Opened by the Atherton family in 1960, the original Sandy Point Restaurant was a drive-in establishment known for its home-cooked dishes. After the restaurant caught fire in 1975, the Athertons reinvented it on a new plot of land that was once a resort. The busy restaurant was a hub for terrific food and entertainment. It has since switched over to new owners, getting an update in 2013 at the West Olive restaurant location and adding a second location in Grand Rapids more recently.Our Dedication to Quality
Even as our restaurant has been slightly altered over the years, one thing hasn't changed: our mission to provide an exceptional dining experience complete with outstanding cuisine and service. Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
