Opened by the Atherton family in 1960, the original Sandy Point Restaurant was a casual place known for its home-cooked meals. After the restaurant caught fire in 1975, the Athertons reopened it on a new plot of land that was previously a resort. The busy restaurant was a hub for terrific food and live performances. It has now changed owners, getting an update in 2013 at the West Olive restaurant location and adding a 2nd location in Grand Rapids more recently.Our Commitment to Quality

Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
