Our Story
Founded by the Athertons in 1960, the original Sandy Point Restaurant was a drive-in establishment beloved for its home-cooked dishes. After the restaurant suffered fire damage in 1975, the Athertons reopened it on a different plot of land that was previously a resort. The busy restaurant was a hotspot for fantastic food and entertainment. It has since changed owners, receiving an update in 2013 at the West Olive location and getting a second location in Grand Rapids in 2020.Our Commitment to Quality
Even as our dining establishment has been slightly altered over time, one thing hasn't changed: our objective to provide a remarkable dining experience complete with outstanding cuisine and service. Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
