Opened by the Atherton family in 1960, the first Sandy Point Restaurant was a casual establishment known for its home-cooked meals. After the restaurant suffered fire damage in 1975, the Athertons reopened it on a different piece of land that was once a resort. The busy restaurant became a hotspot for fantastic food and entertainment. It has since switched over to new owners, receiving an update in 2013 at the West Olive restaurant location and getting a second location in Grand Rapids in 2020.Our Commitment to Quality
Even as our restaurant has been slightly altered over the years, a key thing has remained: our mission to deliver a remarkable dining experience complete with impressive cuisine and service. Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
