Founded by the Atherton family in 1960, the first Sandy Point Restaurant was a drive-in establishment beloved for its home-cooked meals. After the building caught fire in 1975, the Athertons reinvented it on a different piece of land that was once a resort. The busy restaurant was a hub for excellent food and entertainment. It has since switched over to new owners, receiving an update in 2013 at the West Olive location and getting a second location in Grand Rapids more recently.Our Dedication to Quality
Even as our restaurant has been slightly altered over the years, a key thing hasn't changed: our objective to deliver a superior dining experience marked by outstanding food and service. Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
