Founded by the Athertons in 1960, the first Sandy Point Restaurant was a casual place beloved for its home-cooked meals. After the restaurant suffered fire damage in 1975, the Athertons reopened it on a different piece of land that was previously a resort. The busy restaurant was a hub for fantastic food and live performances. It has now changed owners, receiving a remodel in 2013 at the West Olive restaurant location and getting a 2nd location in Grand Rapids in 2020.Our Dedication to Quality

Muskegon ( məs-KEE-gən) is a city in Michigan. It is the county seat of Muskegon County. Muskegon is known for fishing, sailing regattas, pleasure boating, and as a commercial and cruise ship port. It is a popular vacation destination because of the expansive freshwater beaches, historic architecture, and public art collection. It is the most populous city along the western shore of Michigan. At the 2020 United States Census the city population was 38,318. It is at the southwest corner of Muskegon Township, but is administratively autonomous.
Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
