Our Story
Founded by the Athertons in 1960, the first Sandy Point Restaurant was a casual place known for its home-cooked dishes. After the building suffered fire damage in 1975, the Athertons reopened it on a different plot of land that was once a resort. The dynamic restaurant was a hub for great food and live performances. It has since changed owners, getting a remodel in 2013 at the West Olive location and adding a second location in Grand Rapids in 2020.Our Commitment to Quality

Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
