Founded by the Athertons in 1960, the first Sandy Point Restaurant was a drive-in establishment beloved for its home-cooked dishes. After the restaurant suffered fire damage in 1975, the Athertons reopened it on a new piece of land that was previously a resort. The busy restaurant was a hotspot for excellent food and entertainment. It has since switched over to new owners, receiving an upgrade in 2013 at the West Olive restaurant location and adding a 2nd location in Grand Rapids in 2020.Our Commitment to Quality

Douglas (officially known as the City of the Village of Douglas) is a city in Allegan County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,378 at the 2020 census. The city is surrounded by Saugatuck Township and the city of Saugatuck is adjacent on the north.
Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
