Opened by the Athertons in 1960, the original Sandy Point Restaurant was a drive-in establishment known for its home-cooked dishes. After the restaurant suffered fire damage in 1975, the Athertons reopened it on a different plot of land that was previously a resort. The busy restaurant became a hub for great food and entertainment. It has since changed owners, getting an update in 2013 at the West Olive restaurant location and getting a second location in Grand Rapids more recently.Our Commitment to Quality
Even as our restaurant has evolved over time, one thing hasn't changed: our mission to deliver a remarkable dining experience complete with outstanding food and service. Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
