Founded by the Atherton family in 1960, the first Sandy Point Restaurant was a casual establishment known for its home-cooked meals. After the building suffered fire damage in 1975, the Athertons reinvented it on a new plot of land that was once a resort. The busy restaurant became a hotspot for great food and entertainment. It has since changed owners, getting an update in 2013 at the West Olive location and adding a 2nd location in Grand Rapids more recently.Our Commitment to Quality
Even as our restaurant has been slightly altered over time, a key thing hasn't changed: our mission to provide a remarkable dining experience marked by impressive cuisine and service. Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
