Opened by the Athertons in 1960, the first Sandy Point Restaurant was a drive-in place known for its home-cooked dishes. After the restaurant suffered fire damage in 1975, the Athertons reinvented it on a new plot of land that was once a resort. The dynamic restaurant became a hotspot for fantastic food and live performances. It has since switched over to new owners, getting a remodel in 2013 at the West Olive restaurant location and getting a second location in Grand Rapids more recently.Our Dedication to Quality

Muskegon ( məs-KEE-gən) is a city in Michigan. It is the county seat of Muskegon County. Muskegon is known for fishing, sailing regattas, pleasure boating, and as a commercial and cruise ship port. It is a popular vacation destination because of the expansive freshwater beaches, historic architecture, and public art collection. It is the most populous city along the western shore of Michigan. At the 2020 United States Census the city population was 38,318. It is at the southwest corner of Muskegon Township, but is administratively autonomous.
Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
