Opened by the Athertons in 1960, the original Sandy Point Restaurant was a drive-in place beloved for its home-cooked meals. After the building suffered fire damage in 1975, the Athertons reinvented it on a new plot of land that was previously a resort. The bustling restaurant was a hotspot for terrific food and live performances. It has now changed owners, receiving an update in 2013 at the West Olive location and adding a second location in Grand Rapids in 2020.Our Commitment to Quality

Fruitport Charter Township is a charter township of Muskegon County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 12,533 at the 2000 census. The village of Fruitport is within the township.
Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
