Opened by the Athertons in 1960, the original Sandy Point Restaurant was a casual place beloved for its home-cooked dishes. After the restaurant caught fire in 1975, the Athertons reopened it on a new plot of land that was previously a resort. The busy restaurant became a hotspot for fantastic food and entertainment. It has since changed owners, receiving an update in 2013 at the West Olive location and getting a 2nd location in Grand Rapids in 2020.Our Commitment to Quality

Douglas (officially known as the City of the Village of Douglas) is a city in Allegan County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,378 at the 2020 census. The city is surrounded by Saugatuck Township and the city of Saugatuck is adjacent on the north.
Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
