Founded by the Athertons in 1960, the original Sandy Point Restaurant was a casual establishment beloved for its home-cooked meals. After the restaurant suffered fire damage in 1975, the Athertons reinvented it on a new piece of land that was previously a resort. The bustling restaurant was a hotspot for excellent food and live performances. It has now changed owners, getting an update in 2013 at the West Olive location and getting a second location in Grand Rapids more recently.Our Commitment to Quality

Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
