Opened by the Atherton family in 1960, the first Sandy Point Restaurant was a drive-in place known for its home-cooked meals. After the restaurant caught fire in 1975, the Athertons reinvented it on a different piece of land that was previously a resort. The busy restaurant became a hub for terrific food and live performances. It has now switched over to new owners, receiving a remodel in 2013 at the West Olive restaurant location and getting a second location in Grand Rapids in 2020.Our Commitment to Quality

Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
