Opened by the Athertons in 1960, the first Sandy Point Restaurant was a casual establishment beloved for its home-cooked meals. After the restaurant suffered fire damage in 1975, the Athertons reopened it on a new plot of land that was previously a resort. The busy restaurant was a hotspot for great food and entertainment. It has now switched over to new owners, getting an upgrade in 2013 at the West Olive restaurant location and getting a second location in Grand Rapids more recently.Our Dedication to Quality
Even as our dining establishment has been slightly altered over the years, a key thing hasn't changed: our mission to provide a superior dining experience marked by outstanding food and service. Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
