Opened by the Athertons in 1960, the original Sandy Point Restaurant was a drive-in place known for its home-cooked dishes. After the restaurant suffered fire damage in 1975, the Athertons reopened it on a different piece of land that was once a resort. The dynamic restaurant was a hotspot for fantastic food and entertainment. It has since changed owners, receiving an upgrade in 2013 at the West Olive restaurant location and adding a second location in Grand Rapids more recently.Our Dedication to Quality

Douglas (officially known as the City of the Village of Douglas) is a city in Allegan County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,378 at the 2020 census. The city is surrounded by Saugatuck Township and the city of Saugatuck is adjacent on the north.
Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
