Founded by the Atherton family in 1960, the first Sandy Point Restaurant was a casual place known for its home-cooked dishes. After the restaurant caught fire in 1975, the Athertons reopened it on a new piece of land that was previously a resort. The bustling restaurant became a hub for fantastic food and entertainment. It has since switched over to new owners, receiving a remodel in 2013 at the West Olive location and getting a second location in Grand Rapids more recently.Our Dedication to Quality

It is a popular vacation destination because of the expansive freshwater beaches, historic architecture, and public art collection. It is the most populous city along the western shore of Michigan. At the 2020 United States Census the city population was 38,318. It is at the southwest corner of Muskegon Township, but is administratively autonomous.
Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
